The Broom Hus Vacation Rental, built in the 1920’s, is one of the classic Norwegian homes in Petersburg, Alaska. Our non-smoking facility is a separate unit and offers a bedroom with a queen size bed and bunks, plus a queen sized futon in the living room. There is a full service kitchen, bathroom, Flat Screen TV, wireless internet, cable and telephone. Both the main house and suite are decorated with Alaskan art. The suite is outfitted with coffee, tea, and a professional waffle maker with waffle mix. The accommodations are very comfortable and offer a convenient location to town
Our Vacation Rental is perfect for those wanting to fish, hike and whale watch or just enjoy Petersburg, which offers a museum, a wonderful fresh seafood market and restaurant, art galleries, and scenic walks along the waterfront.
Your host is a retired 3rd generation Norwegian Fisherman and your hostess is a longtime artist currently working in copper garden art.
The Broom Hus Vacation Rental is located on Wrangell Narrows with a spectacular view of the fishing fleet in the South Boat Harbor and is within a short walk of the ferry terminal and downtown Petersburg.

Deposits will be refunded, minus a $25.00 handling fee,
if reservations are cancelled 14 days or less prior to arrival.
